Clohars Carnoet the next nearest town. Saturday market outside the Mairee. The town has a good Shopi, banks, boulangeries, fish shop and pharmacy.
You turn down between the Mairee and Church for Doelan.

Doelan may be reached from Clohars Carnoet or along the coast road from
Le Pouldu. Two riverside pubs and cliff walks can lose you half a day here!

There are superb riverside walks along La Laita from Port Pouldu via Port Posmoric (below left) to the Pont St Maurice, then on past St Maurice Creperie into the park and forest.  The best starting point is the Pont St Maurice on the road to Guidel.
From there, on the Guidel side, you can also walk to Guidel Plage or upriver through
the forest (below right) to the pretty villages St Michel and Kerkout, or further ...

Guidel boasts a large Super-U as well as a Shopi.  There is a Sunday Market here and some interesting shops.  Mostly you will pass through Guidel
to other places, such as Guidel Plage and the Morbihan surfing beaches.

Quimperle is a picturesque riverside town.  You will go there for the hypermarkets, of which there are 5 to our knowledge, so it’s well worth a few hours exploring the town.

The old town is built on the hill and there is a large market in the square on Fridays.
